Ashley Huynh, Editor-in-Chief

Ashley is an IB Diploma senior at Watkins Mill High School and Co-Editor-in-Chief for The Current, who adores books and calligraphy.  She is President of the Minority Scholars Program (MSP) and Key Club.  Ashley amplified her voice to uplift students of color as an MSP Intern in 2021 and returned as the Internship Facilitator in 2022, training this year’s cohort of leaders.  In March 2022, she spoke and facilitated a race relations and equity workshop for educators at the National Education Association’s National Leadership Summit in Las Vegas.  Ashley is a Jack Kent Cooke College Scholar and will attend Cornell University to major in Human Biology, Health, & Society after graduation.
