Sarah Bamba, Staff Writer
Sarah Bamba is a senior at Watkins Mill and a Staff Writer on The Current. She is an International Baccalaureate Diploma student, and plans to the University of Maryland, College Park in pursuit of a chemical engineering degree. Sarah's family originates from the Ivory Coast and her culture has been her main inspiration throughout her life. This inspiration led her to become the president of Watkins Mill's very own African Student Association. Along with that she serves on the Class Council 2023, the board of the Muslim Students Association, and is captain of the varsity softball team. She enjoys watching Netflix (a little too much), cooking, writing poetry, reading, music and listening to herself talk.
