On Friday, February 8, both girls and boys varsity basketball faced off against the Coyotes at Clarksburg High School.

The boys fought hard and tied up the score by halftime. “Friday’s game was hard. We had them but it was a tough game. Tonight we’re looking forward to bouncing back from Friday’s loss,” senior Manasse Boito said.

The girls fought through a tough game with freshman Isis Obolensky twisting her ankle towards the end of the game. Obolensky stayed strong and cheered on her teammates for the remaining time with ice on her ankle.

“Well, we have a game tonight but Friday’s game was a tough one. We put our best foot forward. You win some, you lose some and hopefully today we win,” junior Jamila Jones said.
