Micheal talks about the best muscle groups to train and why they’re important.

Hello everyone, for today’s issue I’ll be discussing exercise. I know you might think it’s boring right now but stick with me. I’ll be talking specifically about the top five muscle groups to train; even Dwayne Johnson can’t compete with these it’s just too efficient.

  • Number five: Legs

Starting at the bottom of the list, the legs. I apologize to those who love working out their leg muscles but legs have to go to the bottom of the list. With legs being the most important part of a full physique, I understand why you’re questioning why it’s scored so low. The main reason why it scored low is because of the post-workout effects. Imagine you hit legs in the gym then the next day you have to walk to school, work, enjoy time with family, etc. This factor pushes legs to the lowest score on the list. Just because it’s at the bottom doesn’t mean you shouldn’t work out your leg muscles. Make sure to always have one day where you hit legs because it is still one of the most important muscle groups in the human body.

  • Number four: Abdominal’s (AKA abs or core muscle)

Abs is your core, one of the main factors for stability. Having a strong core makes almost every exercise easier and better. Even with all the benefits of working out the core, it still gets worked out in proxy with many other exercises. If you ask fellow gym buddies if they have a designated core day, you’ll realize that nine times out of ten they do not. Think about it though, when was the last time you said “Hey, I’m going to do a quick one-minute plank!” This is the very reason they aren’t done as often as they should, the pain that it provides is rough, and we’d rather just do anything else. This is why it is in four.

  • Number three: Calves

Yes, I know, this is a part of the legs and I already mentioned it earlier, BUTTTTT just hear me out. Having big calves is such a flex, nice calves help a physique look much better. Senior Tejan Bah, an aesthetic bodybuilder would agree, “I can’t wait till I’m like 50 and have HUGE calves!!!!” he said. Calves are an important part of a physique, so always make sure you train them!

  • Number Two: Forearms

Forearms are a great group to build, everyone works biceps, but forearms are also a great workout. Having strong forearms helps with grip strength and endurance. The main factor that I use to see how strong my forearms have gotten is squeezing limes. Squeezing limes is the ultimate form of a grip test. I remember when I first started to make lemonade, it was a challenge to squeeze those green citrus fruit. Now that I have started to train my forearms, it has become a breeze.

  • Number One: Heart

The one thing that you need for your continued survival is your heart, the one thing that pushes life throughout your body. With blood being the thing that heals your muscles, having cardio can even help muscle growth. The heart is a muscle in your body that you mustn’t forget. Having good cardio also increases your life expectancy!

I hope this article helped you realize the best muscles to work out. You can thank me when you look better and jacked!

Michael Aragon, Staff Writer
Good morning or afternoon, whenever you're reading this honestly. My name is Michael, if you ever want to talk about music go ahead and hit me up. Don’t really have one type of music I listen to, if something sounds nice just gotta listen. Overall though, I listen to niche genres. Other than that though. I play video games and all that, mostly sweaty games but now I’ve been falling off with that. One of the best tuba players in marching band, as well as being the best triple counter bass singers in choir. My skill set in these might be a little off at best but if your the only one that means that your best and worse at everything. Everthing's a matter a perceptive if you really think about it. I hope this perceptive allows to see my how great I am.
