Newspaper staff takes field trip to visit Washington Post newsroom

On February 2, the Watkins Mill Current took a field trip to Washington DC, to visit the Washington Post’s Northwest building. The newspaper staff left Watkins Mill at 8am and took the Metro into the city. During the tour of the building, students learned about how the Washington Post is run and about multiple different types of jobs in the field of journalism.
