Picking pumpkins, Fields of Screams and other fun fall ideas
It’s time to bring the pumpkins out, hang up decorations, and rake leaves. That’s right, it’s fall. If you’ re bored and can’t figure out what to do, we are here to help.
Fall is the perfect time to go out and bond with those you love. We have some perfect date ideas or even things to do with a group of friends. Here are our top 15 things to do in the fall:
- Go hiking
- Make caramel apples
- Go to a pumpkin patch and carve pumpkins (try Butler’s Orchard or Jumbo’s Pumpkin Patch)
- Go to the Field of Screams (located at 4501 Olney Laytonsville Rd, Olney, MD 20832)
- Horror movie fest (Netflix and chills?)
- Buy Halloween socks ($1 at Target!)
- Go to D.C.
- Go to or host costume parties
- 6 Flags Fright Fest, or Kings Dominion Halloween Haunt
- Bonfires (make s’mores)
- Decorate your room for fall
- Perform an exorcism just for fun
- Go to a corn maze (Sunrise Farm or Summers Farm)
- Play powder puff or just go to the game (November 5 @ 6:30)
- Try new fall recipes
