Need something new to do this weekend? Check out Downtown Crown
So, you’re walking around Rio for about the thousandth time, and after about your fifth lap, you start to realize how boring and tedious it is.
How many times can you visit the same stores until you’re practically considered a worker? How many movies are actually good these days? How many basic people are you going to see wearing Vineyard Vines?
We’ve all had these thoughts, but have no fear, you’re in luck. There’s a new shopping center in town, and it’s conveniently located right next to Rio. Yes, it’s the Downtown Crown.
The Crown has many restaurants that people might be able to enjoy after a long day of walking around the area, driving around, or even watching a movie at Rio. Since it is a new addition to the location, many people will be attracted to it, having never seen it before.
Restaurants in The Crown include Asia Nine, &Pizza, La Madeleine, Ted’s Bulletin, Chop’t, Coastal Flats, and more. The various restaurants range from having a cheap time with friends, to places that families may enjoy going out to for quality time together.
Even though most people may enjoy the restaurants that The Crown has to offer, there are still other places that provide various goods and services. This includes, Harris Teeter, Floyd’s 99 Barbershop, Hair Cuttery, V.EYE.P Eye Care, HBF Boutique, Glamorous Nails, and L.A. Fitness.
Some students may be interested in hearing about how some places in The Crown are hiring, since a lot of teens are looking for jobs to help with financial stress. Places hiring include Smashburger, Chop’t, &Pizza, and Coastal Flats. Smashburger and Chop’t hire people sixteen and up, while &Pizza and Coastal Flats are looking for people eighteen and over.
Having so many places in one small area creates a strong sense of community and efficiency. Everything being in one shopping center helps people avoid driving to multiple places just to get certain items and goods. It also helps that The Crown is set up in a very attractive way, which creates a sense of relaxation and joy to one’s overall mood.
