Girls Soccer
Wolverines girls soccer looked to take down the Rockville Rams yesterday, October 9, but fell short losing 4-1. The team’s one goal was scored by junior Jennifer Lopez in the first half. “Like most games we played well but after a few goals it gets to us and we stopped trying. We’re definitely going to fix that against Gaithersburg,” junior captain Annie Riley said.”
The Wolverines will take on the Gaithersburg Trojans this Thursday October, 12 at 5:15. Head down the street to support your ‘Rines in another varsity double header!
Boys Soccer
The ‘Rines boys soccer team lost their third straight game to Rockville High School here at the mill, yesterday by a score of 2-1.
It was a close game, as the ‘Rams gave scored two goals in the second half. The ‘Rines were approaching a comeback by scoring a goal with ten minutes left in the second half, but fell short.
The ‘Rines looks to get back to their winning ways as they face the Gaithersburg Trojans this Thursday at Gaithersburg High School at 7:15pm, so Orange Nation come out and support our ‘Rines to victory!
