Jennifer Explains It All: Valentine’s Day Edition

Dear Jen,

What do you do when your teacher’s zipper is open?

–XYOMG My Eyes

Dear XYOMG My Eyes,

Well, it can go one of two ways. You either tell your teacher in the most polite way possible so you don’t have that awkward pause where you’re trying to make it sound like you weren’t actually staring in that area. Or you can try your hardest to ignore it until the class is over or someone else points it out, whichever comes first.

Dear Jen,

I want Chick-Fil-A, but it’s Sunday. Help!

–Chick-Fil-Nay

Dear Chick-Fil-Nay,

One of the many nationwide issues we have to this day. Why must Chick-Fil-A do this to us?! My apologies, but I guess you’re going to have to look into other places that sell chicken sandwiches and milkshakes, although they’re not as good. That’s OUR only option until Chick-Fil-A decides to stop being childish.

Dear Jen,

What should I do for my girl on Valentine’s Day?

–Clueless Boyfriend

Dear Clueless Boyfriend,

Have you ever heard of the typical chocolate and roses? Simple yet always effective. Works every year. If you want to think outside the box, you can always try holding a boombox outside her window, showing your affection for her even if you wake her. Hopefully she won’t kill you for ruining her beauty sleep.

Dear Jen,

Valentine’s Day is the same day as the All Star game… What are we going to do?

–Ball Is Life

Dear Ball Is Life,

Listen, you got all day to spend with your girl for Valentine’s Day, you got all night for the All Star game. If she wants you to have a good Valentine’s Day, she would understand. And if she’s into the same stuff as you, it’s a win win! Valentine’s Day and basketball all in one. Ever tried All Star and chill?

Dear Jen,

I want to play 2k, but my girl is tripping. Any idea as to why?

–2k All Day

Dear 2k All Day,

You probably didn’t acknowledge her and didn’t even realize it. Make sure you at least let know her that you know she’s there. Pause the game for 5 mins every now and then. It’s good for you and good for her. I mean you could also always get another controller and teach her how to play; some couples are into that stuff  and you guys might be too. Don’t knock it until you try it.

Dear Jen,

What is the perfect Valentine’s Day gift for your significant other?

–I’m Broke 123

Dear I’m Broke 123,

The basics are always fine. Her favorite flowers and chocolate. A stuffed animal? A dinner date is fine as well. Even Netflix and actually chilling. Anything really, because at the end of the day, your significant other should appreciate anything you give them. Valentine’s Day is when you show appreciation to the one you love. At least that’s how I’d see it.

Dear Jen,

What is the best way to stay friends with girls or boys who have crazy jealous boyfriends or girlfriends?

–ScaredPal

Dear ScaredPal,

Well, you don’t. It’s way too complicated especially if you’re of the other gender. “Crazy” jealous significant others are always made out to seem that way because they know the intentions of their gender and don’t necessarily trust them around you. But sometimes, you can prove there’s nothing to be jealous about, depending on how “crazy” they actually are.

Dear Jen,

Why do girls get mad at a guy for being mad when the girl has nothing to even be mad about?

–They Brazy

Dear They Brazy,

Not all girls are like that first off but in most cases, there’s always a reason as to why the girl would be mad. The problem is they may not even know it. It’s always good to communicate. It helps with misunderstanding and misinterpreting. Always communicate–it could turn out that it might have been just a bad day or nothing at all. You’ll never know unless you talk things out.
