Boys Basketball

Boys basketball won in extraordinary fashion this past Friday, February 9 against the Clarksburg Coyotes. The win is partially credited to senior Jaime Castillo, as he was able to hit a crazy buzzer beater shot to win the game in overtime and bring the game to a final score of 61-60.

“Everyone played like a team, and everything worked when we put it together,” said senior Jaime Castillo. Castillo made a last second three point shot to win the game for the Wolverines.”It felt good. I knew I had it in me,” Castillo added.

The ‘Rines look to extend their win streak this Tuesday against Wheaton High School on senior night here at the Mill at 7:15pm, so come out and support.

Girls Basketball

In an outstanding effort, girls basketball beat the Clarksburg Coyotes, last Friday, February 9 with a score of 59-57. Throughout the entire game the Wolverines were battling back and fourth for the lead with the Coyotes, but in the very last seconds they managed to pull off a buzzer beater. The ‘Rines next game will be their senior night this Tuesday, February 13 at 5:30 pm against Quince Orchard High School. Don’t forget to come out and support.
