Volleyball looks to take down Colonels, rebound from loss to open season

The fall sports season is upon us and volleyball is looking forward to a great season. On Wednesday, September 6 they fell to Kennedy High School and look to bounce back tonight at 6:30 pm against Magruder High School.

Although the season has just started, volleyball has some spots they need to fill in to have a successful season. Senior captain Kati Hruska thinks that the team has very good connection, but they need to work on communication and have more trust when someone messes up.

“Attitude plays a big part and if you can control attitude, your mindset, and the mentality you go into the game with because, f you have a good attitude and you’re positive you can control that and will have a good outcome,” Hruska said.
