As part of this year’s Homecoming celebrations, the annual Hallway Decorating Competition has officially begun. Each grade level, from the Class of 2026 to the Class of 2029, is transforming its assigned hallway to fit a decade-themed design voted on by the student body.

Class of 2029: 1980s theme, sponsored by Mr. Purpura (meeting location TBD)
Students have been staying after school and using their lunch periods to cut, paint, and create decorations to bring their assigned decade to life. Participation also counts toward SSL hours, giving students the chance to combine community service with school spirit.
Judging for the Hallway Decorating Competition will take place during Homecoming Week, when staff and students will get to see which decade-themed hallway takes the crown. Until then, the halls will continue to buzz with teamwork, creativity, and a healthy dose of class pride.
