Watkins Mill High School’s last pep rally for this year, sport captains announcing their wins, all the grades competing with each other in games, and amazing performances by clubs here at WMHS.
On April 28th, all students were called outside for the last pep rally this year. It started with coed volleyball celebrating that their winning season. The potato sack race was up next. Only four students could participate, one from each grade. The freshman pulled out ahead at the end, though it was close.

Next, the African dance team performed. The girl’s and boy’s lacrosse team announced their senior night. Then the drum line came out. Following the drum line, the boy’s volleyball and girl’s tennis teams promoted their final games of the season.

The second game was the hula hoop game. Four teams of five had to move two hula hoops from one side to the other while holding hands. The seniors won that game. The Track and field team announced that they are having a meet, then the third game began. The scooter race required 4 teams of two with one of them stomach down on a scooter and legs up. Their partner would have to take their legs and push them and the scooter to the finish line while navigating obstacles.

After that, the boy’s tennis team came out and shared their announcements. Then NOVA performed. The soft ball team talked about their final games for that season. Then finally, the pep rally came to an end.
