Watkins Mill High School welcomed students and families for an afternoon of fun at Rock the Block this Saturday, June 3.
It started strong with many volunteers who came earlier to set up and help with events. When it officially started, families and friends swarmed in, taking pictures, chatting with friends, and having a good time.
There were bounce houses and obstacle courses which kids and teenagers loved. For refreshments, lemonade, cotton candy, and slushy stands were available to cool off the heat. People also got the chance to test their luck with the spin the wheel and dunk tank, along with other fun activities.
It was a great chance for staff, students, and families to gather together and spend time with each other.
