Girl Scout cookies ranked by an official Girl Scout
“I promise to do my best, to be honest, and fair…”, the Girl Scout Law states that we should try to be honest and that is what I am going to do.
This time of year is every American’s favorite…Girl Scout Cookie season. The time when we buy more cookies than we should and eat all the boxes in a week or less (Editor’s Note: more like in a day or less). The time when we feel guilty walking into a grocery store, seeing the little girls trying to sell cookies, and then proceed to buy more even though we have boxes at home.
As a Girl Scout Ambassador, my knowledge of Girl Scout cookies is advanced so I am highly capable of ranking these cookies. Note that Girl Scouts have two bakers known as ABC Bakers and Little Brownie Bakers, but the cookies ranked here are by Little Brownie Bakers.
The only cookies not mentioned on this list are the new Raspberry Rally because they are only available online. Getting your hands on them isn’t easy unless you are willing to pay for $8 shipping.
Without further ado, here is the CORRECT ranking of Girl Scout cookies.
Number 9: Toffee-tastic – These cookies can be dry at times and the combination of the sticky toffee only makes them worse. But if you like toffee and love Girl Scout cookies but can only have Gluten Free these are the perfect option.
Number 8: Do-si-dos – The oatmeal cookie with peanut butter combo is alright, however, it is dry.
Number 7: Trefoils – While these are a Girl Scout classic, they are simple and go great with a cup of coffee.
Number 6: Girl Scout S’mores – These cookies can be eaten in two ways: normal or placed in the microwave for 10 seconds. Eaten normally they are your average cookie with nothing special about them, however, put them in the microwave it is like you are eating a fresh S’more.
Number 5: Lemon-ups – While these aren’t as amazing as the original lemon cookies Savannah Smiles, the flavor makes them hard not to continue eating them.
Number 4: Samoas – These are another classic and many people’s favorite. The caramel, with coconut and chocolate, makes for a perfect crunch and chewiness. These cookies are gone after you open the box.
Number 3: Tagalongs – These cookies are phenomenal, it is just the perfect amount of cookie, peanut butter, and chocolate. Making them the better version of Reese’s.
Number 2: Adventurefuls – These cookies came out last year and immediately became a hit. These cookies are different from the rest since they are said to be brownie-inspired, making the flavor of the brownie and caramel perfect together.
Number 1: Thin Mints – These are not only a classic but are also superior, not only is the flavor amazing but placed in the freezer they become 100 times better.
