Sports Wrap Up: January 23-26
Indoor Track
The ‘Rines competed in the County Championships on Wednesday, January 25.
- Sophomore Madison Medley finished in 3rd place in the girls shot put.
- Junior Kamar Sutherland finished in 3rd place in the boys 55 meter hurdles.
- Senior Abdoul Ndiong finished in 7th place in the boys shot put.
- Sophomore Samuel Koiwood finished in 6th place in the boys 300 meter run.
- Congratulations to all of the ‘Rines that competed in the County Championships!
Boys Basketball
The ‘Rines tip off this week at home against the Damascus Hornets tomorrow night. The game starts at 7:15 pm and tickets are available on GoFan, so come out and show your support.
Girls Basketball
The Lady ‘Rines will travel to face the Damascus Hornets tomorrow night at 7:15 pm. Show your support by buying a ticket on GoFan and cheering the team to a win.
Wrestling
The ‘Rines faced off against the Damascus Hornets on Wednesday, January 25. The match ended in a loss of 84-0.
The ‘Rines will travel for a match against the Rockville Rams on Saturday, January 28.
Swim and Dive
The ‘Rines will celebrate their seniors on Saturday, January 28. The meet will be held at the Germantown Indoor Swim Center at 11:30 am. Come out and see our seniors off!
