Sports Wrap-Up: January 17-20
Before we wrap up the winter sports season, don’t forget that spring sports registration opens on January 23. The different spring sports you can look forward to are allied softball, boys and girls lacrosse, baseball, softball, boys and girls tennis, boys and coed volleyball, and track and field.
Wrestling
The ‘Rines faced off in a match against the Northwood Gladiators on Wednesday, January 18, ending in a 39-21 win.
Bocce
The senior ‘Rines were celebrated on Senior Night on Wednesday, January 18. Rob, Tayliah, Charlie, and Joy were celebrated but unfortunately the ‘Rines lost in a close 2-0 game.
Boys Basketball
The ‘Rines started their week off with a game against the Whitman Vikings on Tuesday, January 17. The game ended in a 82-37 loss.
The ‘Rines will continue their week with a game tonight at the home of the Seneca Valley Screamin’ Eagles. Buy tickets on GoFan to cheer our ‘Rines on to a win.
Girls Basketball
The Lady ‘Rines traveled to face the Whitman Vikings on Tuesday, January 13, ending in a loss of 62-9.
The Lady ‘Rines continue tonight at The Den with a game against the Seneca Valley Screamin’ Eagles. Come support the team and buy tickets on GoFan.
Swim & Dive
The ‘Rines competed in a meet against the Springbrook Blue Devils and the Blake Bengals on Saturday, January 14. The meet ended in a 202-135 loss against the Blue Devils and a 233-117 loss against the Bengals.
