Athletic Department

JV Football won their first game of the season 6-4 against the Kennedy Cavaliers for their Homecoming matchup.

Field Hockey

The Lady ‘Rines traveled to Paint Branch to face off against the Kennedy Cavaliers on Tuesday, October 11, defeating them 1-0. Freshman Jain Bowerman scored her first goal of the season in the Lady ‘Rines’ second win of the year.

The week continued for the Lady ‘Rines with another away game on Thursday, October 13, this time against the Wheaton Knights. Senior Roselind Dominguez scored as the game was declared a 1-0 win for the Lady’ Rines once playing conditions became unsafe, extending their win streak to three games.

Come out tonight at 6pm as the Lady ‘Rines look to continue their win streak against the Springbrook Blue Devils.

Boys Soccer

The ‘Rines started their week off with a trip to play against the Magruder Colonels on Monday, October 10, ending in a 2-0 loss.

The ‘Rines continued their week on Thursday, October 13 with a match against the Paint Branch Panthers for their Senior Night. Seniors were honored and the team fought through the rain for a 2-2 draw. Seniors Joel Tchalim and Alberto Medrano scored, but the ‘Rines were unable to break the deadlock.

Girls Soccer

The Lady ‘Rines hosted the Magruder Colonels on Monday, October 10. The game ended in an 8-1 loss.

The Lady ‘Rines continued at home on Thursday, October 13 against the Paint Branch Panthers. There was a ceremony for seniors and the game finished in a 9-2 loss. Sophomore Sharick Mejias scored her seventh and eighth goals of the season.

Volleyball

The Lady ‘Rines played in their Pink Out game on Tuesday, October 11. The game matched the Lady ‘Rines up with the Kennedy Cavaliers, ending in a 3-1 loss.

The week continued for the Lady ‘Rines with a match against the Magruder Colonels on Thursday, October 13. The game ended in a tough loss of 3-0.

Football

The ‘Rines played their Homecoming game against the Kennedy Cavaliers on Friday, October 14. There were amazing performances from the band, cheer team, and poms, but the ‘Rines unfortunately lost 12-0.
