Sports Wrap-Up; September 19-23

Field Hockey

The Lady ‘Rines started their week off with a game at the home of the Poolesville Falcons on Monday, September 19, ending in a 7-0 loss.

Their week continued with a game against the Maguder Colonels on Wednesday, September 21. The game ended in a loss of 4-0.

The Lady ‘Rines finish out their week with a trip to the home of the Damascus Hornets tonight at 7 pm. Buy tickets on GoFan and come support the team.

Volleyball

The Lady ‘Rines kicked this week off with a match against the Einstein Titans on Tuesday, September 20. The match ended in a  3-1 win, their first of the year.

They continued through the week by playing the Seneca Valley Screamin’ Eagles on Thursday, September 22. The Lady ‘Rines came back from 2-0 down to force a fifth set but unfortunately lost 3-2.

Boys Soccer

The ‘Rines played host to the Rockville Rams on Tuesday, September 20. The game ended in a tough 2-1 loss.

Their week continued with a game at the home of the Damascus Hornets on Thursday, September 22, which ended in a 3-2 loss. Two goals from senior Joel Tchalim were not enough to surmount the deficit in the second half.

Girls Soccer

The Lady ‘Rines started their week off with a game against the Rockville Rams on Tuesday, September 20, ending in a 9-2 loss.

The Lady ‘Rines continued in the cold with a game at home against the Damascus Hornets on Thursday, September 22. Goals from freshman Josselyn Serrano and sophomore Sharick Mejias weren’t enough to finish in a victory.

Football

The ‘Rines play away tonight against the Blake Bengals. The theme is neon, but don’t forget to buy tickets on GoFan and cheer on the team.
