Trying to figure out how to ask that special someone to prom? We’ve got you covered!
Prom is coming up, which means it is time to prepare for how you will ask that special someone to go with you… that is if you even have anyone because some of you are loners. But if the solo life isn’t for you, here are some ideas!
Flash mob
Pick a song to either sing or dance to, make sure you have your backup vocalist or singers with you. Make it as seamless as possible. Two great songs you could use are “Baby” by Justin Bieber and “Boyfriend” by Big Time Rush. Show out to the whole school!
Private picnic
Sometimes bigger is not better, there’s nothing wrong with small and simple. A private moment for the two of you and plus the person will not feel pressured to give a certain answer. Set up a cute picnic and also make sure to check the weather, have fun being in each other’s presence and when the moment feels right pull out that poster or cupcake that asks the question.
Chuck E. Cheese
Why not go to an iconic childhood place and ask the question while in a very cute costume of Chuck E.
Dave and Busters
If you wanna do a more grown-up place you can do it at Dave and Busters, not only will you enjoy a day playing games but you will make it more memorable by asking them to prom.
Get the help of Friends
It would be nice to have your friends as well as their friends around for it. Let their friends know about the plan, have them bring in him or them to where you will ask the question and your friends can help set it up. You can either have the typical shirts with prom spelled out or posters.
Flowers
Everyone loves flowers and if you know their favorite flowers that are even better. Set out a trail of flower petals that lead to the flowers creating the question.
Fireworks
Let’s be fancy and have a firework show that will reveal the question.
Game Promposal
Play a game of wordle and have your final message be your question or go on a favorite game for the both of you and create a way to ask them. An example is Minecraft. These would be good ideas if none of the previous are possible.
Choosing the right proposal is hard but choose based on something both of you will find memorable! GOOD LUCK! 🙂
