Sports Wrap-Up: March 25-April 1
Track and Field
The ‘Rines traveled to compete against the Clarksburg Coyotes. The meet ended in a loss for the boys of 95-41 and a loss of 115-13 in total.
Boys Lacrosse
Boys Lacrosse started the week with their first home game of the season against Damascus Hornets on Monday, March 28. The game ended in a loss of 21-1. The boys played an amazing game in the cold.
On Wednesday, March 30 the ‘Rines traveled to Clarksburg to take on the Coyotes. The game ended in a loss of 20-3.
The ‘Rines will end off their week tonight against Seneca Valley here at the Den at 6:00 pm.
Girls Lacrosse
Girls Lacrosse started the week by traveling to Damascus to take on the Hornets on Monday, March 28. The game ended in a tough loss of 15-1. The girls did not give up once even through difficult weather conditions.
On Wednesday, March 30 the Lady ‘Rines hosted the Clarksburg Coyotes. The game ended in a loss of 16-3.
The Lady ‘Rines will end off their week tonight against the Screaming Eagles at Seneca Valley at 7 pm.
Girls Softball
On Friday, March 25 the Lady ‘Rines took on the Seneca Valley Screaming Eagles. The game ended in a loss of 20-0.
On Saturday, March 26 the Lady ‘Rines took on the Wootton Patriots. The game ended in a 21-11 loss.
The Lady ‘Rines continued their busy week with a match against the Wheaton Knights on Tuesday, March 29, ending in a loss of 27-9.
The Lady ‘Rines will cap off their week with a trip to the home of the Poolesville Falcons at 3:45 pm. Make sure to come out and show school spirit.
Allied Softball
The ‘Rines hosted a match against the Gaithersburg Trojans on Wednesday, March 30. The match ended in a 19-6 win, meaning the ‘Rines are still undefeated.
Baseball
On Friday, March 25 the ‘Rines took on the Seneca Valley Screaming Eagles. The game ended in a loss of 34-0.
On Saturday, March 26 the ‘Rines continued their busy weekend by taking on the Wootton Patriots. The game ended in a loss of 24-0.
The ‘Rines will start this week traveling to take on the Wheaton Knights. The game ended in a 24-0 loss.
Come out tomorrow to cheer on the ‘Rines when they play away against the Poolesville Falcons at 2:30 pm.

On Friday, March 25 the Lady ‘Rines hosted the Wheaton Knights. The game ended in a loss of 7-0.
The Lady ‘Rines started their week traveling to Springbrook to take on the Blue Devils. The game ended in a loss of 7-0.
The Lady ‘Rines continued their week by hosting the Seneca Valley Screamin’ Eagles on Thursday, March 31, ending in a loss of 7-0.
Boys Tennis
Congratulations to the ‘Rines for getting their second win of the season against the Wheaton Knights. The score was 5-2 on Friday, March 25.
The winning streak continued for the ‘Rines this week when hosting the Springbrook Blue Devils. The game ended in a 6-1 win even through the cold.
Coed Volleyball
The ‘Rines game against the Wheaton Knights on Friday, March 25, was postponed pending a makeup date.
The ‘Rines began this week by hosting a doubleheader against the Wootton Patriots on Tuesday, March 29, ending in a loss of 3-0.
The ‘Rines hosted another doubleheader on Thursday, March 31, against the Seneca Valley Screamin’ Eagles, ending in a win of 3-1.
