Movie franchises to watch with your family
For most people, if you’re not online learning or eating, you’re watching movies or television shows. I recently got into the Star Wars movie franchise and even though I never thought I would be interested in the movies, I am now somewhat obsessed.
Every night for ten days, my family and I sat down and watched a Star Wars movie together (including Rogue One and Solo) and even ended up watching two movies one of the nights.
But the best part of the binge-watching isn’t even the movies—it’s the time spent with family. I’ve really enjoyed curling up with food, a blanket, and then talking about the movie afterward. We usually sit and talk and laugh. It’s a great chance to make some memories and connect through something we’re all doing already during quarantine: watching movies.
Obviously though, you want to pick a movie franchise that you’ll be comfortable watching with your entire family (so definitely stay away from 50 Shades of Gray!).
So, although my family’s Star Wars franchise marathon is over, there are many more movie franchises to enjoy for family movie nights. Here are some franchises to binge during quarantine.

If you can sit down with the family and watch a movie, or even a new television show together, I highly encourage you to do so.
The frequent movie nights can help ease tensions that might arise while you’re stuck together for quarantine and it offers an opportunity for laughter, memories, and a little bit of an escape from the real world.
