Blair blazes past Wolverines in second game of season
Wolverines football lost a hard-fought battle to the Montgomery Blair High School Blazers, 20-13 on Friday, September 13 at Watkins Mill High School.
“It was okay, we could have played better, we have to prepare better for [the next] game,” senior Demetrius Rush said.
Junior Kyle Wingate Jr. threw for 153 passing yards and one passing touchdown. He also rushed for 41 yards. Junior Baebaa Sayeh rushed for 49 yards and one rushing touchdown and senior Darnell Lewis Jr. caught six passes for 69 yards and a receiving touchdown.
“I dropped a couple of passes,” Lewis said. “I’m going to just learn from my mistakes and think about good things.”
The Wolverines play next on Friday, September 20 at 6:30 pm against the Bengals at James Hubert Blake High School Bengals.
