Need to spice up your wardrobe for spring? Look no further than this handy guide!

The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and most importantly the school year is ENDING! We all know what that means: Spring is upon us.

Spring is sprinting towards us after a long vacation away. So what better way to celebrate the arrival of warm weather than a new wardrobe? Grab some new dresses, tops, or sandals and end this school year off with a bang.

Any outfit can go from basic to beautiful with some simple fashion tricks; there’s no need to spend hundreds of dollars keeping up with the latest trends. So, this year, spice up outfits with three easy steps!

  1. Contrast

Wearing the same color, like all black or all white, is cool — but switching it up and wearing different colors that compliment each other is a simple way to bring life to any regular outfit. But remember to make sure that the colors have a similar undertone so that they don’t completely clash.

  1. Layers

Spring is coming, but that doesn’t mean it won’t get chilly every now and then. Add a cardigan or even a denim jacket to a simple outfit to give it a little more drip. The weather is especially bipolar this time of year, so adding a light coat or sweater is the safest bet.

  1. Accessories

Accessories are an outfit’s best friend. Add some earrings or rings, I personally love gold hoops.

Depending on your skin tone, you can decide between silver, gold or even rose gold. Your accessories should have some color correlation to your outfit. If you’re wearing bright colors, like neon pink or orange, silver accessories will suit it best because the colors contrast better.

And remember, you don’t have to dress like everybody else, so make sure each outfit resembles who YOU are.
