Sports Wrap-Up: January 8, 2019
Boys Basketball
Boys basketball took home the win against the Damascus Hornets, yesterday January 7, with the final score being 60-48.
Junior shooting guard Demetrius Rush was proud to see such an electric and loud crowd.
“Being one and playing together,” is the main goal for the next away game, Rush said, against the Rockville Rams on Friday January 11. Good Luck ‘Rines!
Girls Basketball
The girls basketball team faced off against the Damascus Hornets, at home yesterday. After a hard fought battle, the ‘Rines lost, 28-62.
“We’re gonna learn from this and keep moving forward,” junior Precious Agyekum said. Led by Coach Donita Adams, the girls started off the game strong.
The girls face off against the Rockville Rams, this Friday, January 11, at home. Be sure to join the girls at 7:15 and cheer them on to victory!
