Boys Baseball
The ‘Rines had a tough match against the Seneca Valley Screamin’ Eagles yesterday, April 17 in the Den. It was a close battle throughout, but the boys beat the out the Screamin’ Eagles by one point, finishing the game 6 to 5. They plan to continue the streak today against the Hornets at Damascus. Girls Softball
Softball fought hard, but fell to the Seneca Valley Screamin’ Eagles yesterday, April 17 in the den. The ‘Rines put up a good fight but fell to the Eagles 17-4. They plan to bounce back today against the Hornets today at Damascus.
Boys Lacrosse
Yesterday, the Watkins Mill boys lacrosse team put up a win against Magruder leading by one point at the end of the game with a score of 5-4. This now puts their record at 2-3 with an upcoming game today at home against Rockville.
Senior Joseph Clarke said, “We implemented a new defense yesterday and that worked very well, our defense was strapping Magruder’s offense down… overall our mentality was a lot more aggressive and confident.”
