Boys Cross Country

Senior Tyrese Hibbert participated in the boys cross country 3A State Championship last Saturday, November 11 at Hereford High School in Parkton, MD. Hibbert represented the ‘Rines with pride and passion as his successful high school boys cross country career comes to an end. Though he was the only Wolverine, he came out strong finishing 47th with a time of 18:08, falling just 6 milliseconds short of his season record.  There were about 205 participants representing their school with pride in the boys 3A State Championship including 53 participants not scoring. Linganore High School came in first place in the event with a team score of 73 and Kieran McDermott taking home the gold medal with a time of 15:59.
