Sports Wrap-Up September 20
Girls soccer
Girls soccer played a long intense game against the Seneca Valley Screamin’ Eagles last night. The game went into double overtime but ended 0-0. The ‘Rines had many chances to try and score but were denied by the Eagles. “I wish we could have had a stronger attack and finish more goals,” junior Chioma Nwoye said.
To beat the Blake Bengals, junior Jennifer Lopez said, “we have to work together and communicate. Nothing can be done if we don’t work as a team.” The ‘Rines will be at home taking on the Bengals this Friday, September 22 at 7:15pm.
