Watkins Mill High School’s annual junior-senior prom was held Friday night, May 13, at Glen Echo Park. The students lucked out with the clear, beautiful night after it being cloudy and stormy earlier that day. The Carousel, built in 1921, added to the wonderful Carnival-themed prom, while the Bumper Car Pavilion supplied the students with beautiful venue for the night. Senior Devonte Bruff was named Prom King and seniors TiQuanna Creek and Sandra Bazubwabo tied for Prom Queen.
